Philadelphia, PA, Sept. 18— Signed to Steven Van Zandt’s New York-based label, Wicked Cool Records, Soraia is about to hit the road for a midwest tour in support of their latest single, Still I Rise. On the heels of a successful freshman release, their 2017 album “Dead Reckoning,” garnered Soraia a Rolling Stone feature article as one of the best live bands of 2017.

Soraia is a Philadelphia-based female-fronted hard rock band, reminiscent of 60’s garage rock mixed with anthemic rock of a 70’s taste, stands modern in their sound and live performance. The singer, ZouZou Mansour, is a phoenix-like figure, carrying her story of survival and transcendence from a past littered with addiction, abuse, and alcoholism.
